Product Strategy
You have a team and a roadmap, but priorities keep shifting, or nobody agrees on what "done" actually means. I help you find the real shape of the problem before committing engineering time to it. That usually means sitting with the mess long enough to see what's actually broken, not just what's loudest.
I've spent most of my career owning the platform layer other teams build on top of: access models, data migrations, the infrastructure decisions that quietly determine what's possible six months from now. If your team needs a clear-eyed assessment before a big architectural bet, that's where I'm most useful.
Access & Governance
Most companies build their permission model once and then live with it, patching around problems as they show up. I own this work directly, roles, permissions, authorization, and the harder question underneath it: how do you design something that stays simple for small customers and still holds up for your largest, most complex ones.
If you're rethinking how access works in your product, or inheriting a model nobody fully understands anymore, I can help you find the real structure underneath it.
Cross-Functional Alignment
A lot of what looks like a strategy problem is actually a trust problem between teams. I work directly with engineering, design, and business stakeholders, often without any formal authority over them, to get a group actually moving in the same direction. That means real conversations, not a slide deck nobody reads.
If your team is new, recently reorganized, or just stuck in the same disagreement on repeat, I can help you find where the friction actually lives.
Fractional & Interim Product Leadership
Sometimes a team needs a senior product voice for a defined stretch, not a full-time hire. I take on interim or fractional leadership roles: covering a leadership gap, standing up a new function, or getting a specific initiative moving before handing it off cleanly to your own team.
